Over 2,000 acres of pristine land awaits you at Reimers Ranch Park.
Located just under an hour from Austin, Reimers Ranch Park is in beautiful Travis County along the Perdanales River and the Pogue Springs Preserve/Hogge Reserve. It boasts of lush green wilderness, sandy riverbanks and towering rocky peaks – with minimal crowds.
Activities
Rockclimbing
Best seasons to come are spring and fall, but year round climbing is available. Choose from over 100 routes, both for the beginner and Spiderman-esque climbers. Although beginners are welcome, this park tends to be geared toward those with more experience.
Mountain Biking
With 18 miles of mountain bike trails, come prepared to shred because the trails here are very fast. They have clean lines, easy to navigate switch backs and some wide open spaces. Each trail is marked by color to denotate skill level.
Swimming and Fishing
Almost 3 miles of river front welcomes swimmers and fisherman alike. Come looking for white bass or just for a leisure swim in the Perdanales. Whatever activity you’re doing on the water, make sure your beverages are cans, no glass allowed.
Hiking
Mainly easy hikes here, along the river or in the higher elevations.
Accommodations
This is a day use park only, so once the sun goes down, it’s time to pack it in and call it a day. Dogs are welcome to tag along for the fun, too.
